Learn to Knit In Person - Auburn, Indiana

 If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to knit — or simply crave a relaxing way to slow down and create something beautiful with your hands — these beginner-friendly classes are for you.

Each small-group session includes everything you need to get started and is designed to help you feel confident with the basics. We’ll meet in a cozy local coffee shop, share a few laughs, and create space to unwind while learning a timeless craft.

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn:

How to cast on — the very first step to starting any project

The knit stitch — the foundation of most patterns

How to cast off to finish your piece neatly

(If time allows), we’ll also introduce the purl stitch

You’ll leave with the skills (and confidence) to start simple projects on your own — plus a deeper appreciation for the calm rhythm of knitting.

Each class comes with a beginner knitting kit, including:

Printed instructions

A few surprise extras to make your first project extra special

Location & Atmosphere

We typically meet at one of our favorite local coffee spots — 9th Street Brew or Five Lakes Coffee — creating a cozy, welcoming space to learn and connect.

Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details — including meeting location, what to bring (just yourself!), and your class kit.

Payment Details

Each class is $65 per person and includes your full beginner knitting kit.

Payment is due at least 24 hours before class begins to hold your spot — unless you plan to pay in cash at the class.
